We are here to present the 2026-2027 Fun with Robotics @ UCI, our signature robotics challenge designed to inspire creativity, teamwork, and innovation!
This year, we’re taking things to the next level with an exciting venue at the University of California, Irvine (UCI) again!
Our goal remains the same: to provide every participant with an enjoyable and memorable experience, fostering a lifelong love for robotics in a fun, engaging, and supportive environment.
To make the event even better, we’ve adjusted the schedule to start later in the day, allowing teams to arrive refreshed and ready to compete. Plus, don’t miss our parent component during the awards ceremony, where families can join in the excitement and celebration!

Judging Format
Judging Format • All Remote Judging - The Initial Team Interviews will be conducted remotely, and Engineering Notebooks will be submitted to judges digitally via a link found within the "My Account" panel of the team contact. Initial Interviews will be scheduled between Sept 21-30, and the Notebook submission deadline will be Sept 30.
Volunteer
Volunteer We welcome volunteers of all skill levels to join us! Whether you’re completely new or highly experienced, your support helps make our events possible. Training will be provided for all roles, and we’re happy to match you with a position that fits your interests and comfort level. If you’re interested in volunteering, please email us at admin@ocaicenter.org . We’d love to have you be part of our event community.
