Congratulations, you are registered for the 2026-27 VEX IQ Middle School Regional Championship to be held at Wallace State Community College on March 10-11, 2027. Please note that all engineering notebooks must be digitally submitted no later than noon (Central Time), Thursday, March 3, 2027, to be eligible for judged awards. Team interviews will be conducted the day of the event. We look forward to hosting your teams while on campus and look forward to an exciting robotics event. Please have your teams review carefully the game manual and robot inspection checklist VERY carefully, as we will enforce all regulations for this event since it will be considered a state qualifying event. No variances in robot dimensions, motor requirements, etc. will be allowed. Your robot cannot take the field if it is not within the prescribed standards. Have your teams and adult mentors also review the new guidelines for the Code of Conduct and Student-Centered policies. There are some very important modifications as to what is considered permissible interactions during qualification matches.
Within a week of the event a packet of campus information will be emailed to the coaches email posted on events.vex.com.

Judging Format
Judging Format Digital Engineering Notebook Submissions / In Person Team Interviews: Team interviews will be conducted in-person at the event. Engineering notebooks will be submitted digitally for evaluation via a link found within the "My Account" panel of the team contact on RobotEvents. The deadline to digitally submit the engineering notebook with be noon, Central Time, Thursday, March 3, 2027 . Submissions with a date/time stamp after this deadline will not be reviewed for judged awards, no exceptions. Physical engineering notebooks will not be accepted the day of the event.
Volunteer
Volunteer Volunteers are the backbone of the Global Robotics/Vex system. If you would like to participate as a volunteer we would certainly encourage you to let us know. Please reach out to the Event Partner within two weeks of the event so we can place you in a position you are qualified for. If you hold Head Referee, Judging or Score Keeper credentials for this season please let us know that as well. Thank you for considering participation as a volunteer for our event.
Emergency/Bad-Weather Policy
Emergency/Bad Weather Policy In the event of bad weather, this event is subject to being cancelled. A final determination on cancellation will be made noon on the day before the event is to be held (March 9, 2027) . Notification will come through the email addresses posted in events.vex.com for the coach and assistant coach for each team. Please check your email during the week prior to the event for updates.
