All teams, regardless of HS or MS will be competing together for one set of awards. MS teams will not receive separate awards or state qualification.
Please have ALL your teams go through the inspection list and make sure they are in compliance with these rules BEFORE they come to the event!

Judging Format

Judging Format • All In-Person Judging - The Team Interviews and Final Engineering Notebook deliberations will be judged in person on the day of the event. • Notebooks and interviews will happen at the #5 WVL Finals • Teams must OPT IN to an interview. Judges will NOT be coming to team tables, rather teams must find time between matches to come to the Judges table for their interview! • Teams must ensure that their Engineering Notebook is submitted by Monday 2/8/2027 by 12pm EST.

Late Arrival If your team will be late you MUST contact Riley Liddle @ 206 920 8245 by 3:00 pm as the match lists are run at 3:15 pm. Phone calls are better than texts. Teams will not be included in the schedule after this time.
