Welcome to the annual JFK Robotics Override Qualifier.
This year's game, VEX V5: Overide Robotics Competition, will be played by high school and middle school teams of students as they design, build and program a robot to defeat each other.
Breakfast and Lunch are offered for purchase by the JFK Robotics club
Digital Engineering Notebook Submissions / In Person Team Interviews: Team interviews will be conducted in person at the event. Engineering notebooks will be submitted digitally for evaluation via a link found within the "My Account" panel of the team contact on RobotEvents.
The Submission deadline for engineering notebooks for this event will be TUESDAY JANUARY 5, 2027 at 9:00 PM.

Volunteer
Volunteer Volunteers are always welcome. We offer a complimentary breakfast, lunch, and a certificate of community service hours. Experts in engineering and robotics are always welcome, but anyone can help. We have roles for volunteers of all ability levels. Contact: docampo@bmchsd.org
Emergency/Bad-Weather Policy
Emergency/Bad Weather Policy In the event of severe inclement weather or other emergency, the event partner will coordinate with the school district and building administrators to decide as early as possible about any potential delay or cancellation of the event. Any delay or cancellation will be posted on the events.vex.com website, and the event host will contact by text/email all attending teams as eary as possible. The tentative reschedule date is TBD
