Welcome to DuBois Area Robotics VEX V5 State Qualifier! While this is an Open event and any team may register, it is intended for Western PA teams.

*There may be discounts offered for teams who supply event volunteers and/or for PA Rural Robotics Member Schools. This information will be finalized at a later date.

Judging Format

Judging Format • Digital Engineering Notebook Submissions / In Person Team Interviews: Team interviews will be conducted in-person at the event. Engineering notebooks will be submitted digitally for evaluation via a link found within the "My Account" panel of the team contact. • Remote Judging of the Engineering Notebooks will take place the week prior to the event (Notebook links in Robot Events need to be updated by Friday. February 5, 2027.

Volunteer

Volunteer Teams will be responsible for field setup after the completion of their match scoring. We will be utilizing volunteers from our school, but will also need coaches and mentors to fill roles when they are at the competition. Responsibilities for volunteers will be determined after registration has closed, but may occur as late as competition day. We may be offering a discounted cost to attend the event for teams who provide a volunteer. More information regarding this will be provided at a later date.
